By placing an order, you confirm that you have read through – and agree to be bound by – these terms of use and also give your consent for the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy below.
About Boråstapeter
To purchase from Boråstapeter, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract.
In these general terms and conditions, you will find the rules that apply when you order goods from us. The terms "we, our, and us" below refer to Boråstapeter AB. By ticking that you accept our terms, you agree to be bound by the current version of these terms at all times.
As different screens and individual screen settings affect color rendering, we cannot guarantee that the shades of the goods will match exactly with the images displayed when you as a consumer visit our site. We reserve the right for any typographical and printing errors.
Contract Partner & Payment Terms
Goods in stock are normally delivered to your agent within 1-4 days. If you place your order before 14:00, you will often receive the item the next day.
You can choose the payment method and delivery option at checkout, partner conditions apply. After completing the purchase, you will receive an order confirmation by email. The email usually arrives directly, but sometimes it can take a little time depending on the server load. A tip is to also check your spam so that the email has not ended up there.
When you shop with us, you must have reached the age of 18 or have your guardian's approval.
All prices stated include VAT unless otherwise indicated.
Registration & Personal Data Handling
Registration with Boråstapeter is free and without any purchase requirement. When you order, you must provide the information requested in the registration form. The information includes name, address, and contact information, including a working email address.
Your information is processed by us in order to fulfill our agreement with you, to deliver your products, and more. We will also use your information to send offers and tell you about new products or services. Your personal data may also be transferred between us and other companies in our group and to the retailer(s) you choose. By entering your details when you order, you agree to our processing of your personal data in this way, in accordance with the Personal Data Act (1998:204).
If you wish to withdraw your consent, you can do so completely or partially by sending a written message to us, you will find the address further down, under Privacy Policy. If your withdrawal results in problems for us at Boråstapeter to fulfill the agreement or other obligations, we have the right to refuse delivery of ordered products or terminate the agreement with immediate effect. If you want more information about our handling of your personal data, you are welcome to contact us at the address you find at the bottom.
Offers and news may occur through direct mail by post or in another way. However, Boråstapeter does not send any advertising to you via email or SMS/MMS without you first explicitly requesting this, for example by saying yes/actively leaving your email address to subscribe to our newsletter or receive SMS notification when your wallpaper has been delivered to the store.
Orders & Delivery Conditions
All products on our site are sold at the price (including value-added tax) stated in the webshop as long as stock lasts. We cannot guarantee that sold-out products will be delivered later or replaced by similar products, and we may therefore decline an order in whole or in part.
Your order becomes binding only after we have confirmed it. The confirmation is sent via email and is valid even if it has been sent to an incorrect email address. The normal delivery time is within 1-4 working days from the time you receive an order confirmation from us. If you have not received any goods within 10 days, something has gone wrong, and we ask you to contact us at info@borastapeter.com using your order number as a reference.
When the order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to your chosen carrier. Note that the link is activated when the carrier picks up the package and only then can the order be followed through the link.
If your product cannot be delivered within the normal delivery time, our goal is to contact you as soon as possible with a date when delivery can take place.

The wallpaper calculator, our tool for calculating how many rolls you need to wallpaper, calculates whole walls and does not take into account windows, doors, or similar. We recommend you keep any leftover wallpaper, preferably a whole roll in case damages occur to the wallpaper afterward. Since each series has a unique color blend (batch number), it is not certain that a replacement wallpaper will match the wallpaper you have on the wall color-wise.
Right of Withdrawal & Returns
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on our goods, applicable for unopened packaging. For returns registered within 14 days from the date you received your order, the full amount minus the cost of return shipping will be refunded. We do not accept returns of wallpaper samples or customized wallpapers. The cost of the return will be deducted from your refund when we have registered your return.

You will then receive a return shipping label and a delivery note by email that you use to return the goods. If you have questions regarding our return policy, please contact customer service at info@borastapeter.com.
Complaint
If you discover any fault with your goods, we ask you to send the order number, documentation with photo, and a description of the fault to info@borastapeter.com as soon as possible, and we normally respond within one working day with an action plan. If you are so unlucky that any goods are defective or damaged upon delivery, we will of course replace the item with a faultless and whole product.
We always recommend that you check the product before installation to ensure there are no faults or transport damages. This is important because we do not compensate for incidental costs (such as the cost for craftsmen or compensation for your invested time) that arise, for example, from incorrect installation. We also do not compensate for any cost for re-wallpapering if the product is defective.
A complaint must be made within a reasonable time, and it is up to the buyer to prove that the fault is due to the product. If you have shopped through a retailer, contact them for return and complaint.
Shipping Cost
You as the customer bear the shipping cost unless otherwise stated in your order or according to another agreement.
Suspension
We have the right to close your account with us if you violate these terms of use.
Assignment
Your account with Boråstapeter is personal and may not be transferred to a third party. We have the right to transfer all, or certain, rights (such as the right to payment) and obligations under these terms to another. We also have the right to hire subcontractors to fulfill our obligations.
Change of Terms
Changes or additions to these terms take effect one month after the new terms have been published on our site. However, we always have the right to make such changes that are prompted by law, regulation, or authority decision with immediate effect. If you do not accept a change or addition to these terms of use, you have the right to terminate your customer account by written notice to the address at the bottom. If you do not terminate your account, you are considered to have accepted the new terms.
Copyright
All images, text, and other content on our site are protected by copyright, trademark protection, and other intellectual property rules and laws. Unless otherwise stated, all material on the site is our exclusive property, in other words, you may not take our images and do anything else with them.
Force majeure
A party is not responsible for delays or losses due to circumstances that the party does not control and that significantly complicates the fulfillment of the obligation in question, or that makes the fulfillment of the obligation not economically justifiable. In the event a party wishes to invoke such circumstance, the other party shall be notified without delay.
Mandatory Legislation
Nothing in these terms shall be interpreted as an exception or waiver from mandatory legislation applicable to purchases under these terms.
Disputes
Disputes arising from these terms shall be settled by a Swedish court. We and our retailers generally follow the recommendations of the General Complaints Board (ARN).
Privacy Policy
We work to ensure that your privacy is protected when using our services. We therefore have a policy that sets out how your personal data should be processed and protected. This privacy policy applies to customers affected by the Embellence Group's various brands and their websites.
Who is responsible for your personal data?
Boråstapeter AB is the data controller for the personal data processed within the company, as well as by our assistants.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect personal data necessary to fulfill our customers' orders. The personal data we process are the details you provide to us. In most cases, this is contact information such as name, telephone number, email, and address.
How do we use your personal data?
- To process our customers' orders.
- To send you notifications about delivery status.
- To contact you regarding deliveries of your goods.
- To answer your questions.
- To update you on our products.
We save your data as long as required to fulfill the above purposes or as long as we are legally obliged to do so. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.
How are the data protected?
We follow appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure that all information we process is protected from unauthorized access. Only a limited number of employees have access to information about you, and their handling of the information is strictly regulated.
Your rights
You have the right to know what we do with your personal data, when and how your personal data is processed and why. You also have the right to access your personal data and to have them moved, corrected, or deleted.

Once a year, free of charge, you can request information about which personal data is stored with us, the purposes of processing these personal data, and information on where these personal data have been obtained.

To be able to find your personal data and send them to you, we need your name, personal identification number, address, telephone number, and email address. Also, specify which email address you want the information sent to and what password you want the compressed file to have.
To ensure that only you have access to this information, in addition to your signature, you also need to send a copy of an approved identification document with your request.
Right to correction
We are responsible for ensuring that the personal data we process is correct and up to date. However, if you notice that we have incorrect data about you, you have the right to request that we correct such data. You also have the right to supplement with such personal data that you consider missing and that is relevant in view of the purpose we have with the processing of your personal data.
If the data has been corrected at your request, we will make sure to inform those to whom we have disclosed the data about the correction. This does not apply, however, if it proves to be impossible or would involve a disproportionately large effort. At your request, we will inform you to whom the correction has been disclosed.
Right to deletion
We save your Customer Data as long as you are a customer with us. When the agreement between us has ended, they are deleted, except when we are legally obliged to save them for a longer period (for example, according to the Accounting Act).
As a customer, you always have the right to contact us and request that your personal data be deleted. In the following cases, personal data must be deleted:
- If the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which we have collected and processed them;
- If the processing is based solely on your consent and you withdraw this consent;
- If the processing is for direct marketing and you object to the personal data being processed;
- If you object to the personal data processing that takes place after a balance of interests and there are no legitimate reasons that outweigh your interest;
- If the personal data are not processed in accordance with the regulation;
- If deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
Complaint
If you believe that we are processing your personal data in violation of applicable data protection regulations, you should notify us as soon as possible. You can also turn directly to the Swedish Data Protection Authority and submit your complaint.
Cookies
To ensure that you receive the most relevant information and the best service when you use our and our partners' online services, information is collected through so-called cookies on your equipment. You can set your browser to refuse or delete certain cookies. However, be aware that if you choose to block cookies, it may impair the functionality of our site, and some functionality may not work at all.
