All colors for our wallpapers are mixed by hand in our factory. It's a meticulous craft, which means there are no specific color codes available. Our recommendation is to take a piece of wallpaper to a paint store, where they can help you mix a matching color.

No. We start processing your order as soon as you complete your purchase, so changes cannot be made. If you've forgotten something, you can simply place a new order.

Wallpaper samples are sent by regular mail within Europe and cannot be tracked.

We always recommend inspecting the product for any defects or transport damage before installation. If you notice any defects while wallpapering, stop immediately. This is because we do not compensate for additional costs such as labor expenses or your time.

If you purchased from a retailer, contact them for claims. 

If you purchased from our website and discover a defect in your products, please send your order number, a photo, and a description of the defect to info@borastapeter.com as soon as possible.

All our wallpapers are produced at Borås Tapetfabrik in Viared, just outside Borås, covering the entire process from initial sketch to finished wallpaper. It is also the first wallpaper factory established in Sweden. Read more about us, our printing techniques, and our designers.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from Northern European paper companies that practice sustainable forestry. As proof of this, we and our suppliers are FSC-certified*. No PVC or harmful solvents are used in production, and only water-based inks and surface treatments are used, all of which are safely processed in the factory's own purification plant. The factory continuously strives to reduce energy consumption in wallpaper production and minimize waste throughout the entire process, from roll production to printing. Any waste material from our production facility in Borås is repurposed into district heating for the city. When you receive a finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable materials.

All our wallpapers are fire-rated according to the EU standard EN13501. In most cases, they achieve class B-s1,d0 without containing flame retardants. The specific fire rating is printed on the label that comes with your wallpaper.

An FSC-certified product contains certified forest raw materials, ensuring sustainable forestry and social responsibility in the sourcing and processing of the raw material.
